The Nicaraguan Dunhill Signed Range cigar combines Nicaraguan and Dominican filler tobaccos with an African Cameroon binder and a Cuban seed Nicaraguan wrapper to produce a balanced blend that is worthy of the prestige of the Dunhill name. Note that the pre-2007 cigars were made with a different blend and wrapper and are more earthy and chocolatey than the current Nicaraguan cigar.
Pre-Smoke A flawless cigar from head to foot, this Nicaraguan beauty is wrapped in a smooth reddish brown cameroon wrapper with few veins. The wrapper scent is spiced with cedar and cinnamon notes. The toro has a very dense solid construction and clips very cleanly.
Burn
The Dunhill burned very evenly, and produced a crisp white ash that was tight to the cigar.
The Flavor What you won't get from a Dunhill is a peppery blast followed by strong flavors that hit your palate like a ton of bricks. What you will get is a very tasty even flavor with subtle developments of flavor notes.
A very elegant mix of a woody base with caramel, coffee and cinnamon flavors weaving in and out exemplifies this smoking experience. The aroma of the smoke is also quite pleasant and cedary - spicy. The strength is medium to medium-full but the overall feeling is one of culture and class.
