Rich, complex and spicy. Spice, oak with softer vanilla and honey. Fruity with Christmas spices - cinnamon and nutmeg. Dried fruits like raisins.

Initial sweet vanilla balanced by fruit (dried raisins) and spices (repeat of the cinnamon and nutmeg). The flavors pretty much follow the nose. Much less wine notes than expected.

Medium to long finish with some maltiness. Somewhat dry oakiness but not overly so.
