The team at Sip Smoke Savor traveled to Houston on November 20th to take part in a special tasting event at Serious Cigars.  Owner Ron Lesseraux, shown here in the middle, challenged us to match scotch and chocolates to three Alec Bradley cigars.  A light rain didn't discourage the over sixty patrons who turned out to try our pairings and enjoy some fine new smokes.

Sip Smoke Savor tempted guests with three pairings:   A medium full Alec Bradley Honduran SCR was matched to accentuate its coffee notes, with a Bunnahabhain 12 year old single malt and Chuao Java Bonbon.  The spicy Tempus Centuria was complimented by a powerful Abelour a'bunadh whisky and served with Picante chocolate.  The grand finale was the robust Prensado Torpedo paired with the excellent Ardbeg Uigeadail scotch and Candela smoky chipotle chocolate confection.  A fun time was had by all.
