This exuberant youngster shows great depth and provides an excellent introduction to the "Islay character". Nestled in a rock covered cove on the southern most tip of the island, this distillery now thrives under its 1997 ownership by Glenmorangie plc.

SUGGESTED CHOCOLATE PAIRING
The citrusy freshness of Le Citron and Cinco de Mayo are perfect flavor mates for this malt. The bittersweet dark chocolate of the Gran Cacao offers a beautifully contrasting alternative. Too many choices too little time.
SUGGESTED CIGAR PAIRING
The Ardbeg 10 is a classic heavily peated Islay malt that just begs for a dark maduro cigar, and this combination produces a rich, rewarding experience. |
