MIT Club of Boston Scotch Whisky Dinner

This will be a night to remember - the first-ever Club of Boston Ivy+ Single Malt Scotch Whisky Dinner! We've partnered with Om Restaurant in Harvard Square as well as a single malt Scotch whisky distributor to bring you a fun and tasty night at a great price. The evening will feature several premium single malt Scotch whiskies, whisky cocktails prepared by Om's certified mixologist, and a three-course meal specially designed for the night by Om's executive chef.

The night will include:

• cocktail reception featuring a specialty cocktail made with AnCnoc single malt scotch
• single malt Scotch whisky tasting led by a scotch expert, featuring Old Pulteney 17, AnCnoc 16, and Balblair 1997
• specially-prepared three-course meal (see menu below)
• dessert whisky cocktail to finish off your experience

The menu for the night is as follows:

First Course

Free Form Beef Ravioli

Wolfe’s Neck Farm beef cheeks, sesame parsnips, beets, citrus essence

Entrée

Petite Lamb Shank

Grilled local pear, fall squash forotto

Dessert

Chocolate Tart

Burnt caramel gelato, honey thyme gastrique

Note: A vegetarian option is available by request at the event. Be sure to mark "Vegetarian" in the meal option when registering for the event. The price includes tax and gratuity. So you can just have a good night enjoying some fine drinks, excellent food, and fun company!  Register for the event here.Attendees must be at least 21 years of age. Om Restaurant (click for map) is within easy walking distance from the Harvard Station Red Line T stop. Parking is available at numerous locations in Harvard Square, but the recommended location is at University Park Garage where parking after 5:00 PM is $8.00 with validation.
