The idea for Sip Smoke Savor was conceived while on vacation with our spouses in Scotland. Sipping one of Speyside’s finest malts on the woodland deck of the Craigellachie Hotel, two siblings confessed their obsessions. My sister, a malt fanatic for many years shared her growing interest in pairing scotch with artisan chocolates, while I pled guilty to a fondness for a fine cigar with my favorite dram. As you can guess from the name, this website pays homage to these three sympatico indulgences. I know what you’re thinking, “It’s a tough job building a pairings website”. Well we can’t help but have fun and hope that you find it infectious.
