Dark and attractive, effortless draw. Big, delicious flavor with balanced wood and nuts. Rich and semi-sweet smoke. Cedary,exotic spices in the cigar as well.
Pre-Smoke
Encased in a cedar sheath, the Vintage Cameroon has a toothy reddish brown wrapper, a few veins, but is well constructed and very solid. A cedary scent comes off the wrapper and a clip and cold draw exhibits an earthy flavor. The draw is excellent.
Burn
The cigar’s burn was almost always even, the ash was solid.
The Flavor
This medium bodied cigar is pretty consistent throughout the smoke. The primary flavor is earth, but dry and salty. Cedary spice overlays this flavor in the taste and in the aroma. The smoke has almost an incense smell to it, which is very pleasant even for bystanders.
The cigar begins a little more spicy, then mellows out through the middle. Mostly the flavors remain unchanged for the remainder of the stick.
This is a well constructed, flavorful and rich cigar, if a little one-dimensional. A go to cigar for the consistent quality and flavor.
